The Muslim Character

Overview

About This Course

Your teenager already knows lying is wrong. They know they should be patient, be kind, be honest. This course isn’t here to tell them that again. It’s here for the harder question: what actually happens in the group chat, in the argument with a sibling, in the exam hall, in the four seconds before they hit send? Over eight sessions, students study thirteen character qualities straight from the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah — then test them against situations they’ll genuinely face this week. Not another class they’ll attend and forget. One focused month to build something that quietly shapes how they see themselves, handle pressure, and treat the people around them — long after the course ends.

Learning Objectives

A Practical Guide to Faith, Character & Daily Life

For the moments you can't be there for.

As teenagers grow, parents cannot be present for every decision, conversation, friendship, or challenge they face. What guides them in those moments is the character they have developed.

The Muslim Character is a one-month group course with 8 sessions, held twice a week, designed for Muslim teenagers growing up in today's complex social and cultural environments.
The course helps students understand how Islamic values can shape the way they think, respond, make decisions, build relationships, and handle pressure—especially when no one is watching.

- Schedule: Flexible timings available to accommodate different time zones

- Class Groups: Separate groups for boys and girls to ensure effective communication and a comfortable learning environment

What Students Will Experience

Each session combines authentic Qur'an and Hadith evidence, meaningful discussion, real-life scenarios, guided reflection, and practical application.

Across the eight sessions, students will explore:

- The One Who Is Always Watching — Taqwa

- Who Are You Doing This For? — Sincerity

- Your Word Is Who You Are — Honesty & Trustworthiness

- When Life Pushes Back — Patience & Gratitude

- The Strength to Lower Yourself — Humility & Respect

- Soft Hearts Are Not Weak Hearts — Mercy & Forgiveness

- Holding the Reins — Self-Control & Courage

-The Person I Am Becoming — Responsibility

The discussions connect Islamic principles to situations teenagers actually face—from friendships and family relationships to peer pressure, social media, emotional reactions, and difficult choices.

More Than a Course

Students won't simply learn what good character means. They will be encouraged to recognize their own habits, think through real situations, make intentional choices, and practice what they learn.
The journey concludes with a personal character development plan: one quality to strengthen, one habit to practice, and one person to help them stay accountable.

One Month. Eight Sessions. A Character That Lasts.

Give them the tools to make the right choice—even when you can't be there to guide them.
