Teaching these subjects requires teachers who are dedicated and knowledeable, and who can make sure your children learn correctly.

Who is the Online Islamic School for?

The Online Islamic School is for any child or teen who needs a structured schoolyear plan to learn Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies. We offer 13 levels that follow the American school system (Kindergarten through 12th Grade) and will allow for a step-by-step but steady progression for your child. Classes are held everyday for 45 minutes from Monday through Friday, with an optional Whole Quran Track on Saturday and Sunday.

How does it work?

When the fall semester begins, you will have access to your course materials in your online portal account. Parents: you will get access to each child’s course, so you can monitor and review with them what they are learning. Your child will sign in to his account, access the class through their online calendar, and attend the sessions. 

Classes use a mix of lecture-style learning and interactive learning, where students can interact with the teacher, answer questions, and more during the live sessions.  Teachers are available for questions outside of class time in the class discussion area and you can connect with other students in the class.  

The teacher will assign homework and the class will have exams and quizzes. Your online portal account will also give you access to online learning materials, such as flashcards, listening practices, videos, and curriculum.

How do I enroll my child?

You can easily enroll your child by filling out this form and paying the $25 application fee that will be invoiced to you. Our Student Support Team will then create your Parent and Student Online Portal, and you will be able to schedule your child’s placement test.

How do I enroll my child? 

Click on the “Enroll Now” button. This will take you to the enrollment form. Once submitted, you will be invoiced for the $25 application fee. Upon receiving both the form and the fee, our Student Support Team will create your free portal account where you will be able to schedule your child’s placement test.

If you already have an account, you will still need to fill out this special enrollment form and our Team will simply add the appropriate classes to your child’s account once the application form and fee are received. You will then be able to schedule your child’s placement test.

After successfully completing the placement test, your child’s schedule will be confirmed and he/she will be added to the classes, which will open on the first day of the new semester.

My child is not available to take class at the times offered for this program. Do you have other times available? 

Our Online Islamic School will be held live daily for 45 minutes from Monday to Friday, as well as on Saturday and Sunday for those signing up for the optional Whole Quran Track. Upon completing the enrollment form, please indicate your timing preferences among the four offered for the weekday classes. Please note that these timings are subject to availability and will be confirmed prior to the beginning of the semester.

Since our Online Islamic School is made of group classes, we cannot make individual times. If the schedules don’t work for you and your child, we suggest that you enroll them in our online one-on-one classes which are available 24/7.

Additional Note on Class Timings: 

Classes are on scheduled times, daily. If, for any reason, a class needs to be rescheduled or a schedule needs to be adjusted, students will be notified ahead of time.

When is the registration deadline? 

Registration closes on the first day of class. Please refer to our Academic Calendar on this page to find out when the school year starts.

How many children are enrolled in each group? 

Our Online Islamic School classes have between 5 and 8 students enrolled in each group. There may be multiple groups for each level.

What is the language of instruction? 

For the Arabic track, while some explanations for coursework and homework might be given in English especially in the Beginner and Elementary levels, our teachers use Arabic as the main language of instruction, relying on images and animations when needed to help your child learn and understand. For the Quran and Islamic Studies tracks, although key terms related to each subject will be given in Arabic, English will be the main medium of communication and Arabic terms will be translated or explained.

There are different levels. How will you know which one is suitable for my child? 

Our Online Islamic School is based on level and age. We currently offer 13 levels that correspond to the American school system (i.e. Kindergarten through 12th grade) in terms of age. Your child will take an initial placement test which will help us determine the appropriate level for them, with attention given to their age.

Once my child has completed a Year, will they get a certificate? 

Yes! Upon completing each Year, you will receive an email notification letting you know that your child’s certificate has been added to their online portal account.

Application Fee: $25/application (one student per application)

Tuition: $375/semester for our Full Track (Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies)
Does not include tuition for additional tracks (optional).
