  • What were your goals? My goal was to fix up anymore errors in my recitation, ensure that I know all the detailed rules and acheive an Ijaazah.

  • How did you feel studying with Studio Arabiya? I had a very enjoyable experience throughout and although I would have never imagined, I felt that I had let go of something I enjoyed a lot once the classes finished. I liked the fact that my classes were one-to-one, tailored to suit me and that my progress was based on my pace of learning. I never once felt intimidated or that I had lost hope because the teacher was very encouraging. There would alwaysbe a summary at the end of the lesson about how that days lesson went, the good parts, and areas that need work.

  • What Inspired You to Start? The biggest motivation for signing up with Studio Arabiya was the facility to schedule classes according to my own schedule.

  • Any Comments About Studio Arabiya and your Experience? I was fortunate enough to meet a good team of administrators who dedicated their time into finding the right teacher for me. I am happy to say that I not only learned Quran recitation from my teachers but also learned many valuable Islamic life lessons that I can implement everyday. Throughout the years, Studio Arabiya and its team has become an extended part of my family.

Fun Facts

  • Age: 12

  • Location: UK

  • Student Since: 2015

  • Courses: Ijaazah Program

  • How do you feel Younus progressed through the program? He learnt more faster than in a class room as he felt comfortable in his own house and was never late to class.

  • What achievements has Younus met? Younus has gained a Ijazah and is learning each time. It makes me really happy that I can trust Studio Arabiya to teach about Islam the way it should be taught.

  • Can you give some advice to other students and parents? Make sincere dua to Allah subhanu watalah and start learning even if you know a little as your efforts and rewards are for Allah alone. The quran is a beautiful journey that never ends so it doesn't matter where you are in your journey, starter or advanced. Do little or much as you can and enjoy your learning and always remember Allah. Jazzak Allah Khair

Fun Facts

  • Age: 42

  • Location: USA

  • Student Since: 2017

  • Courses: Arabic

  • Learning Goals: To finally learn arabic and be able to speak it fluently. I am big on speaking because I don't think just knowing how to decipher arabic in an Islamic book really makes the language a part of your being. I want to speak in Arabic, joke in Arabic, and dream in Arabic. I would even like to talk to myself in Arabic.

  • Why do you think other learning methods didn't work for you? It boils down to persistence and discipline, clearly traits I need to work on. I can't really fault the other methods which were mostly in-person classroom type instruction. The problem was me. I honestly think many students pay too much attention to the "method" of instruction and don't put in the work, and then they fault the method of instruction. One thing you guys seem to have as a strong point is your instructors. Osama is an excellent instructor with an excellent attitude -- encouraging, patient, and he doesn't make you feel like a loser if you let life "get in the way" of learning Arabic. If your other instructors are like Osama, you have a goldmine ma shaa Allah.
