Do You Want to Finally Understand Quran?

Do You Want to Finally Understand Quran?

“We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an so you people may understand”

(Qur’an 12:2)

Ramadan comes and Ramadan goes with long nights of standing and reading or listening to the words of Allah. How many times have you stood reading the Quran and not known what you were reciting? You may have read pages and pages of words, but what do they mean? What is Allah saying to us? Can you understand the Quran without having to read the translation in your own native language? Not knowing what you are saying in prayer or when you read from the mushaf can rob you of focus, concentration and spiritual growth. It can turn deeply profound acts of worship into chores, lacking the battery-recharge we need throughout the day and even throughout the year.

“We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an so you people may understand” (Qur’an 12:2)

Allah sent down his book, the Quran, so that we can understand and be guided by it. Unfortunately, many of us do not understand the true words of Allah. We rely on mere translations, which are all different and can impart variance in their meanings. It’s time to finally make a commitment to learn the Arabic language, so that you can understand the Quran while you are reading it.
